Dems Gain from Bush Admin Legal Troubles

All potential Democrats bump up slightly and GOPers decline due to today's indictments. However, at this time it's not the scandal that most partisan Democrats hoped for. Unless there are more indictments down the pike, I'm not sure the average voter will associate the GOP with scandal in 2006 let alone 2008.

WinChoice Presidential Winnability Index moves to new Web site!

I am a speechwriter and political consultant in Austin, Texas. This index is a creature of my own devising and has accurately predicted the winner of every presidential election since 1996. It is important to note, it is not my measure of their chance of nomination; it is my measure of their ability to win the election in 2008, assuming the election were held today.

A note on the candidates - they are included in this list if "my sources" hear that these potentials have personally expressed interest in the presidency. Also, I do not believe Condoleeza Rice will ever seek the office.

Changes - Sen. Tom Coburn enters the board; Frist collapses by 10; Giuliani and Barbour advance slightly due to hurricane terror; and Brownback advances slightly on leadership opportunity with anti-Miers forces. Rice down.

Dems set to break loose if indictments brought against Rove/Libby/etc. Clinton and Edwards down, Richardson up. Look for movement on Warner rating depending on results of VA gubernatorial race.
